Planning a year in North Cyprus

Weare a retired couple and hope to come to n cyprus in September for up to a year and plan to rent a property in Esentepe or similar

We have a Renault kangoo 06 plate 22000 miles which we have owned for a year .

Can anyone help with the following questions .:-



On arrival at Tasucu do we just board the ferry and cross to Girne .

What documents do we need for the car .

Are anythings like food banned from importing

We plan to stay in a hotel for a week and then choose a property .

I understand we then have to apply for temp visa. How long can this be for.

We planned after 5.5 months to return to Turkey for 2 weeks holiday .

Can we then return and stay a further 5.5 months in North Cyprus

We then intend to drive back to uk ,having decided if we want to stay in Cyprus or go back to uk .

Answers to any of the questions would be appreciated ,thanks in advance
