But only in the south .....

Petrol prices are to drop today with Petrolina announcing a cut of 0.03 euro cents per litre due to a reduction in global oil prices.

From today Octane 95 will be sold for €1.12 per litre and Octane 98 for €1.15 per litre.

Petrolina will also reduce the price of diesel by 0.04 euro cents to €1.21 per litre from Saturday.

This equates to 2.07 ytl per litre

Not a bad saving if you are over there.

Cheers Nigel, we have to go where our money gets the most. It may encourage the North to follow suit.

ABout time pirces started to drop, here in the US when they go up they go up two times a "Day". But now in one week they have dropped over 50cents a gallon.

They did go up almost $1.50 in 6 months.

Still paying £1.30 a litre for diesel......sob....sob! Won't use supermarket petrol after a dodgy batch end of last year cost my hb £1,500 in repairs.

I have registered with petrolprices but the price at one shell garage in London dropped from £1.23 to £1.14 overnight? I got my petrol thankfully at Tesco for £1.10, with voucher, and long may it keep falling. That shell garage could afford to drop the price that much there is so much overcharging going on. I remember the dodgy batch and thought that the drivers could claim their repairs, I saw it on Watch Dog. Worth looking into

Hi Jackeen

If you sign up for a Shell Credit Card (Citi) and use it at the Shell garage you get an additional 3% of the bill off when the statement comes in.

In many areas over the last 5 working days petrol and diesel has fallen from 115p for petrol and 128p for diesel to 110p and 121p respectively.

Its not just that the oil price has fallen dramatically recently but a price war between supermarkets has started up. They are hoping that when visiting for your petrol you'll also shop there too. They must think we're mad. I still shop at Aldi and Lidl where it's cheaper, but do get my diesel from Tesco and get Clubcard points too. 30 points a week will make a christmas more bareable.
