About Balci Plaza

Balci Plaza is beyond your expectations. Balci Plaza is set between the beautiful tranquil foothills of Karpaz ( Famagusta) in a perfect setting of some of the most spectacular gardens ever to be seen in North Cyprus.

The complex is situated directly by the shore of the blue Mediterranean sea of Karpaz.

The hotel‘s most outstanding attribute is the people who run it. As soon as you arrive, you feel the hospitality and the friendliness, and the efficient service is guaranteed throughout your stay.

I'm in the Villas Carparis which is small but very nice. After a day on the beach we have just returned to find our room not cleaned. I flagged it with the manager who said they only cleaned every three days because it was too expensive. I asked for two clean towels and he was ok. At 55 euro a night for a double you'd expect at least the bed to be made

The Scarlets is your Villa Carparis a part of the Balci Plazi?

I have stayed at the Balci Plaza a few years ago.. was very pleased.. and would go again.

They also cook a wicked english breakfast!!! best i have had in Cyprus!

I can't fault the place. They also have their own private beach.

ENJOY!!!

Balci Plaza is a few kms beyhond Yeni Erenkoy, and is wlel sign posted once you leave Y.E.

Hasan Balci the proprietor is an extremely friendly man, and has improved the place since its early days. You get a one or two bedroomed self catering chalet, PLUS the restaurant where you get breakfast, and if you want lunch and dinner.

The beach is a private cove and one can wlak around the 100 or so hectares of grounds where all the veggies etc are grown. It is not too far to drive to Dipkarpaz (about half an hour), so Balci is an ideal place to stay.

Last I knew (and I could be out of date) - one bed is 55 euros a night and the larger 2 bed is 75. But do check.

Verypopular place with folk from Kyrenia for that 'get away from it all' home atmosphere!

And I saw Hasan on Sunday and he said the road is nearly finished. Anyone going up that way will understand what that statement means!

we have a property 5 mins drive from the Balgi Plaza, and we feel it is the best food by far in the Karpaz area. Never stayed at the rooms, but they are all well frequented by tourists, esp quite a few germans, and we noted in may and june there were a lot of italians staying. Hassan is lovely, the food is good, and as has been said not the cheapest, but would rather have one meal here than three anywhere else.

Hi, I would welcome your opions, we stayed at the Hotel Club Malibu last year and found it completely lacking in atmosphere, breakfast was uninspirational as was the evening meal but the beach was fabulous. Thinking of trying the Baceli Plaza and very impressed with the comments on this thread about the hotel, food and service. Can anyone tell me what the beach is like please. thanks in anticipation.

No air con when I stayed there, but that was 4 years ago so there may be by now. Certainly lovely people.

Just come back from a short break at the BALCI PLAZA and it was absolutely perfect in every way. Our accommodation had a sitting room, a kitchen with kettle and fridge, a bedroom and bathroom. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and there were 2 aircon, one in the sitting room and one in the bedroom. It was a couple of minutes walk from the accommodation area to both the restaurant (the food was delicious and there was a good choice) and the beach (a private little cove, sandy and safe!). We wouldn't have changed anything! I can't wait to go back again!
