The houses at Washington DC are well known for its designs. Each and every house reflects the innovative and creative style of the builder. At Washington DC it is easier to identify the builder with the home designs as each and every designer possess his own unique potentiality with which he designs the house and satisfies the customer through all possible means. The builders at Washington DC are the lovers of experimentation and the fact that they get the ample freedom to do the experiments with the designs is the co-operative mentality and the supporting nature of the customers as well. This results in the emergence of some classic designs, which at the first glance just woo the customer down. There is no wonder, that the Americans, unlike others give more importance to the design of the house than the value of the location. Thus it is the design of the house which makes it all.

How many American's can afford that luxury now, we see headlines talking about tent cities springing up all over America, these people many of them who classed themselves has middle class. I would also like to know your source of evidence to suggest that Americans give more importance to design, unlike others? Regards James

There are architects whose designs uplift and inspire. The work of Antonio Gaudi springs to mind with his work in Barcelona. It is a great pity that the TRNC didn't have someone of such vision to guide the development of the built environment. Would be interesting to hear what members consider to be architectural delights and worth visiting in the TRNC. My own favourite is the Büyük Han in Nicosia, but can't think of a modern building.

Unfortunately this board appears to have been targeted by spammers and this is one of them. No interest in the TRNC just joined to get a foothold on the board before posting links to their non TRNC business. AJ

It (msg 1) is a load of hogwash too... otherwise how would you explain enclaves like Beverly Hills? Americans are just as aware that location is all important. I don't see any evidence of mansion houses having been built in the ghettos.
