Having been to the island now three times, we have eaten out in various places. Last night the whole family went to the 'Blue Door' in Alsancek.

The restaurant is beautiful outside and is very traditional. Waiters were in traditional turkish costume and were very attentive (without being over the top and in your face)

The menu is very attractive with pictures of old times and has much to choose from.

The food is absolutely beautiful and in beautiful surroundings we couldn't have asked for more! We shall definately be returning before we go home!

If you fancy eating at somewere new, go try it, you wont be dissapointed, we certainly were not!!

yes I was there in July and it was all just lovely and set menu was about 40tl if I remember. However I did have friends who on their first visit to it also found it to be excellent but on a subsequent evening it was dreadful- so they all have 'off' nights methinks!

Prices were about the same as anywhere else. Set Meze meal was 35TL per person.



It was nice to be given a choice of Chips & Salad or Potatoes and Veg. Very fresh -- good veg.



Only thing we could fault was the heavy use of Salt on our Steaks. If you dont like or shouldnt have salt tell them not to use as much.



Will go again for certain.
