works a treat on 1mb. Unfortunately there's no freeview channels and you need a UK VPN

Only one way to be sure of SKY here and that is with a SKY sub (on a UK address, and bring the SKY box and matching card out here) and a BIG dish.

If a UK SKY subscriber, gets skyplayer for free, what's stopping him giving his mate over here, (with a UK VPN) his log in details?

Or can you only watch the same channels at the same time?

Reading their website, most channels require you to subscribe to Multiroom.

Tex, Sky register your home network on their system, only computers on your network are allowed to access your sky subscription.

Every time you want to watch a programme their computer sends a certificate to your computer allowing it to access the programme.

re msg 6

AS far as I'm aware you CAN view Sky player from another UK IP address - I've done it while away on hols / biz ..I haven't checked the Ts and Cs ..

One can only register ONE pc to download and view - but you can view from up to three pcs - downloading then playing back is better in Cyprus..
