Angus, all in all you have to be happy with that result. Playing nearly an hour with 10 men and then 10 mins with only 9 on the pitch. You have to feel sorry for Reiner he played a blinder up to the equaliser but fairly happy with the result.

Good game and well played to both teams, Arsenal are no pushovers and in first 45 they looked threatening with Liverpool not offering much.

But what a second 45 for Liverpool, they played with passion, pride and a lot of good football.



Ok Reina scored the goal but lets no detract Arsenal are a good side and I am happy with the result.



Was impressed with Jovanovic's strength on the ball, Ngog was tireless, Gerrard played a good game, but can someone tell me why Skyrtel cannot pass to anyone in a red shirt as he passed so many balls straight to Arsenal!! He was great in defence though but needs to watch his passing.

Agger, Carragher and Johnson steady at back , Johnson good going forward.



All in all a good result.



Tom would have been proud , so would Brian !! Hope Brian was there with the Kop Gang !!

been to blackpool today to our relatives pity there city fans but a friend of theirs who is a blackpool fan put a bet on at the bookies before the season started for blackpool to top the prem at any time of the season and went in to claim his money.the bookie wouldnt payout saying all the first matches have to be played.he is now taking it to someone higher,me not being a betting man dosnt know how he will stand.what do you think

If the parties to the contract had two different things in mind, ie there was no meeting of the minds, then there is no contract. Enforcing issues in matters of gambling debt is notoriously difficult. Perhaps that is why there appears to be a gun culture between Casinos !

angus mate think about it , someone is being asked to pay £400 million ( at least) to buy and remove the debt , invest maybe £200million in the team and build a new ground £500 million ! these are investors for gods sake wake up , ask yourself why did the sheiks buy man city and not liverpool ? answer very cheap deal . upto now after buying city and spending god knows how much on players they have spent only £200 million and they are the richest of the richest.
