You want a Cool pad bed & mattress topper, see http://www.personalcooling.co.uk . I have one of their pillows & it's great in the summer months!

I have a coolpad pillow. It is cool but I do not like the plastic feel of the one I own. It's a "chillow".

Yes the pillow is a bit plasticy but I put it in my pillow case on top of my pillow & it works well. When I'm in TRNC I put it in the fridge for a while before I go to bed, you then I couldn't sleep on it without some covering as it's so cold. I haven't tried the mattress toppers but I like the idea that you can use them straight out of the box, with the pillow you have to add water to activate it.

Umm, it says you can put the mattress in the fridge, i wonder how long it stays cold.
