Digi turk missing channels

Have seem to have lost, BBC world, Euronews and VH1 today is it just me or has everyone lost them??

Often happens re install your programmes and they should come back. Its atmospherics. Ha ha

We frequently lose both Geographic programmes and all music Channels. They were gone this week from Sunday until Tuesday. How does one re-instal programmes? Information please.

For re-installation press the OPTS button on your digiturk remote - then SETTINGS - then Installation - then Easy Installation and that should update everything for you.

If the old LNB is about 4 years old, you can be fairly sure it's rooted beyond repair.

The only problem I had was last night during New Tricks. When the channels go off like that it is usually because there's a storm going on somewhere but they do put up a notice to let you know what's happening and that it will return in a short time.

Thanks guys, actually just remembered my kids said a message had come up tell us to get a new card, maybe this is the problem as I have tried to re install and it stayed the same. But at least if it is just me then I should be able to get them back.

Had the guy round today,and had the small box on the roof renewed, and paid 70tl. All back to normal.

can any one tell me how many english channels you should get on basic digiturk as at the moment wished we had not even bothered as it is a complete waste of money.

took card in and box, it wasn't either, think I have the same problem as birdie, the guy is coming to fix it either today or Monday. It is an old unit had it over 7 years now. It not just the English channels that have disappeared, but will find they are the only ones most folks on here will notice, I've lost at least 5 channels in English and another 5 in turkish. Some have been missing so long I didn't even remember them.
