I think Kaplica and the surrounding area is very nice. Relatively unspoilt with lots of little coves and beaches.

I think all of the east coast is fabulous once you pass the power station. Esentepe is beautiful, as is Tatlisu and Kaplica has lovely sandy beaches. Please don't spoil this lovely part of the island by over devlopment.

Unfortunately with the new road I think it wont be long till its 'unspoilt' feel wears off, I hope I am wrong

Has to be Tatlisu and surrounding areas. Beautiful coastline, stunning scenery and some of the most kind and friendly people we have ever come across.

Hi Lazydays,

With the slow down in the property market and the reluctance of oversees buyers to purchase in the TRNC until things are more settled, hopefully the Eastern side will remain unspoilt and beautiful for a long time yet.

I would have thought that Esentepe has already been spoilt by over development or are all those housing estates just a mirage? You obviously do not remember that area before the cowboys were let loose on it.

Hi Quarmby,

We bought in 2006 and have to agree a lot more building work has taken place since then but it is still not as bad as the west of Kyrenia. If it stays as it is, I will not complain, you can still see the sea most of the way down to Kaplica.

Our balcony over looks a small quaint harbour no over development where we are . But as you say let us hope it stays that way !!
