The newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Lefkosa Kaya Turkmen is continuing with his courtesy visits

throughout the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Within the framework of his visits, the Turkish Ambassador visited the Social Democratic Party yesterday.



Speaking during the visit, the Turkish Ambassador Kaya Turkmen said his was happy from visiting the TDP, a party which had an important place in Cyprus Turkish politics.

He said that the Turkish Embassy desired to expand relations and cooperation with all political party as well as civil society organizations within the Republic.

For his part, the leader of the Social Democratic Party Mehmet Cakici praised Mr. Turkmen’s desire to learn about all political parties in the Republic, irrespective of their political views.

For his part, the leader of the Social Democratic Party Mehmet Cakici praised Mr. Turkmen’s desire to learn about all political parties in the Republic, irrespective of their political views.



He said that the Turkish Ambassador put forward a different vision, both with his experiences and his outlook towards various events.



Providing information regarding the Social Democratic Party’s political views, the TDP leader wished the new ambassador success in his duty in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.



As part of his ongoing contacts, the Turkish Ambassador visited the Democrat Party this morning.
