| “The Cyprus Problem is a package which must be solved as a whole. Discussing the problem and taking up proposals piece by piece is totally unacceptable” he said. The Premier also added that the latest rulings by the ECHR concerning the property issue contained provisions which could help solve the thorny chapter on property. Commenting on domestic issues, Kucuk said that 7 new draft laws which were prepared in line with EU standards and laws were ready to be submitted to parliament. The Prime Minister said that he expected other political parties with seats in the Republic’s Assembly to back the reform laws, which he described as for the benefit of the Cyprus Turkish people. |
