The 14th International Gazimağusa Culture and Art Festival prepares to host world-famous stars again this year.



The Festival kicks off on the 24th of August and will continue until the 7th of September.



At a press conference held today, Gazimağusa Mayor Oktay Kayalp said art lovers will enjoy watching the performances of world-famous stars during the Festival.

All events will take place at the site of the Salamis Antique Theatre as usual.

The legendary reggae group- The Wailers will give the start to the International Gazimağusa Culture and Art Festival this year with a great concert on the 24th of August.

Very well-known Turkish artists Zerrin Özer and Fatih Erkoç, the living legend of the traditional Ladino music Yasmin Levy, the Cypress Classica Group- which focuses on the classic tunes of the Cyprus Turkish folk music- and the most famous orchestra of the Balkans Kocani will also perform during the Festival.

The closure will take place with a fabulous concert by the Spanish artist Buika- who is known for her great music that brings Flamenco and jazz together.

Thanks for posting this .'' Brilliant'' I have popped it in my favourites I now can see at a glance any forthcoming events .



Pity they do not have a programme of events for Bellapais and the ampitheatre . Thanks again !!
