| Whilst at Girne police station on Tuesday last there was a Mrs Wade in line behind us ( a senior lady whose husband died just over a year ago). She had all the necessary paperwork apart from the tax office stamp and was more than a little taken back as her husband had done everything in the ten years she had lived here. Fortunately there was a lady from Karsiyaka there who spoke excellent Turkish who was able to help (sorry I did not get her name) and the police were very understanding. Hopefully that lady will recognise this tale and let us know if there has been any progress on find Mrs Wade's solicitor (advocate). We gave Mrs W a lift back to Alsancak as she had arrived by taxi. |
