Since about 2pm today, our esteemed FA has created 12 new topics.



These topics have had 60 posts, including the first one.



Of these 60 posts, all but 14, have been by No.1.



Two topics had nothing to do with Cyprus, and the others had limited interest judging by the number of views.



Most of them if you are not logged in, are now on the second page.



Too much drivel, IMHO.



Am I now back on the list of Problem Posters?

Texas. We don't have a list of problem posters, so no worries there!



You're entitled to your opinion like anyone else so don't feel threatened.



The purpose of all my threads today were to prove a point that most posters on here are not concerned with every post/thread being about the trnc.

We've had a lot of comments about "what's this got to do with the trnc?" and "what's that got to do with the trnc?", that I deliberately posted 10 threads about the trnc. Apart from one of them all the others had not got a 100 views. Yet a thread about a train ending up in a wrong country gets 417 views.

You have also proved one other;



Board (or should it read bored) members are more interested in things related directly to them, their interests, good old Blightly, or 4-eared cats. Most of these are non-TRNC related.



So can you FA's agree with each other relating to the use of this board? Is it for TRNC only, or for whatever we want?



I would request ALL FA's , not members, to put their views below. (Fat chance).

OH Dear OH Dear OH Dear. What the heck is going on I for one find 44 full of useful information & very helpful & I am sure so do many others, but in saying that some posts are of no interest to me but that does not mean they are not of interest others.

So why can members not put up a comment on a post if they so choose to do so, is that not what the forum is all about maybe if you find otherwise then the forum may not be for you. Do we now suggest that admin place a restriction on how many post you can reply to or on what subject & that those who know answers to many questions must not pass on the great knowledge that they may have. Msg 5 , here's your fat chance This a purely personal view , this board started as a source of information and it still is to this day , it has evolved into a very popular forum , and has created a sort of cyber community that has in turn created the kind of forum we have today , the majority like the board the way it is ,i know i do , the variety of posts keep it interesting and the humour that keeps us entertained . I'm not keen on a few topics so therefore i don't read them , you yourself have posted on formula 1 and football , so you must enjoy the variety to a certain extent .Lets live and let live there's no harm in it , don't read if you are not interested , life is too short and far too precious to be stressing about the unimportant things in life

In another thread Ilovecyprus likened this forum to the discussions going on in an expat-but-TRNC-based pub. In such a pub there would indeed be many non-Cyprus related topics.



Furthermore, as Rowlo states in msg 14; "If it (the thread) doesn't interest you, dont read it." However, it's not quite as simple as that - Unlike most other forums, ours only has one section. Thus such non-Cyprus-related threads are pushing those relevant to the title of this web-site further down the page.



So, yes as Texas states, maybe it is time that all the FAs got together, to thrash out where this forum is going - Personally I like the atmosphere of our Cyprus 44 pub, but is this detracting from the original purpose of it.

My comments were for Dee & Dee alone. I actually find the term 'brown-nosing' quite revolting and would never use it myself but Dee seems to think that's what I do!
