| With the cost of gas going up,can i suggest husbands and boyfriends buy there partners a nightdress with fur around the bottom to keep there necks warm this coming christmas |

| Hi all,
When I was growing up in the northeast of England, we didn't have central heating in those days and the winters were a lot colder and harsher than now. We didn't have fitted carpets either, I can remember waking up and there being ice on the inside of the bedroom windows, no double glazing. I had hoped those days were long gone, but with the price of fuel going up so high. I think it will be thermals and sitting with a hot water bottle at my feet this winter.
