Hi ,

Does anyone know if I can get Bute or Danilon without a prescription from vets in N Cyprus. My horse is on a low dose of Bute due to we think navicular syndrome. It is quite expensive here and as I am coming out shortly I wondered if I could get a stock. Before anyone tells me it could harm the horse's liver I know but the vet believes it is worth the risk to keep my horse rideable.

HI, I don't know if you can get Bute here, but if you ring Cemal he will probably know. He has horses, and has had them most of his life and would know where you could get it (that's if you can). His number is 0542 8538792. I always had horses in England, and know when Bute was banned it caused a lot of problems for horses and people. Good luck. Will ring Cemal when I arrive. Something similar to Bute will do, so long as it has the same effect.
