From 4pm on Sunday at MOS Restaurant, just past Erdener supermarket on the other side of the road to Çatalköy, there will be a pool party with all proceeds going to Lee Hickens' charity for little Ismail Karadağ.

It's just 5TL to get in, and there's going to be a barbeque, with games for the little kids and entertainment for the big kids.

Please come along, even if just for a short while, and help to support this very worthwhile cause

OK, promise I will only sing for a short while (about 3 Hours) Actually lets just have a party, lots of music, from all era,s and lots, of request,s lets see if we've got your favourite track,

And Guest singers will be welcome.

Lets keep it lots of fun, and Chillax. that is a new word that was recently added to the Oxford English dictionary.

Its a mix of chilling and relaxing. (may be bit modern for Hal9000 and Scruffdog.)

OK people, this is how it goes;

You pledge an amount (say, 20TL) for Lee to sing a certain song. He carries on singing that song until someone pledges more for him to stop.

Then he starts another song (nominated by the audience) until someone pledges enough for him to stop.

I've seen this gain hundreds of pounds for Wireless for the Blind - let's see how much we can get for Ismail!

Brilliant idea and for such a good cause. We weren't here when Spider hosted hers, so hope to be there on Sunday. It seems like a great way to get round the problems with the crackdown on ex-pat entertainers, too. Do you think if it catches on big time, the government might see a reduction in its revenue from bars as people prefer to go to private parties for charity with entertainment provided? By the way, I am really looking forward to hearing you sing again, Lee..... but there again, I am tone deaf ..... only joking!

On checking the address again, I have just realised that it is at a restaurant, not a private house, so sorry if I confused anyone with my previous post. I thought it was an event like Spider's, which, unfortunately, we missed.

Good event in lovely surroundings, although is a shame that it was not better attended. Well done to Lee and the other organisers. I hope you managed to raise some money for Ismail..... and we didn't leave because you started singing, Lee .... honestly!
