This has come as a hell of a shock. Has Amanda died? What happened?

Yes someone please update. I heard (almostby accident) that she had gone to U.K for medical treatment, but knew no more. Please tell, someone. She was so young and lovely.

I was really shocked and saddened to hear that Amanda has died. I knew she was back in the UK but had no idea she was so ill. She was a lovely lady, always had a smile and ready for a chat however busy she was. I will miss her. My deepest sympathies to her little boy she should be very proud of him he is a lovely young boy and she clearly loved him dearly. My deepest sympathies go to Omar and her family as well.

Rest in Peace Amanda. God Bless and keep you safe always x

Has this sad topic now set a precedence for all those who sadly pass away in the future?

Not sure wha tyou mean, Quarmby. Surely this is just a sign of how loved Amanda was, and how she has been snatched away too soon from those to whom she mattered - which is a large number of the community. It is entirely up to anyone as to what they feel should be done to mark the passing of someone. There is another lady who has died this week too, but she was less well known than Amanda, and so is not getting the same degree of attention.

Don't think anyone would do it fo rme, but I am not Amanda - and she really was a special kind of lady.

Kath & Alan, İ received your email and your message has been added.

İ have already contacted Cyprus Today, but when İ said locals, İ mean't all the Turkish and TC's who used to frequent the auction.

Sorry but I wanted to get this back up to the top to encourage people to sign the condolences book, or e mail as suggested in one of the postings, if it is impossible for anyone to get to the shop.

Is there a closing date to this, so people will know if they have time to come and sign the book?

No closing date at the moment.......will keep you all posted on that one.

Keep spreading the word as İ belıeve there are still many people who do not know about the book.

Especially the Turkish & Turkish Cyp community.
