An 'eye' question

I have noticed that for the last year, i've found it difficult to see very small writing, so i bought a pair of those little cheapy glasses that you can buy anywhere...i got mine at a laundromat, and have found, especially recently, that they have helped enormously. Anyway, i'm sitting at my computer, and noticed my face felt tight, then i realised i was squinting...so out of curiosity i tried on the glasses...and WOW!! Everything is so much bigger and brighter, and my face is much more relaxed!!



Anyway, my question is, is it better to put off wearing glasses for as long as possible...to make them work for longer, or do i get myself some glasses and start wearing them immediately....?



Does anyone know the when is the right time to start donning spectacles?

go to an optician they will tell you, do it soon as many other illness can be found through the eyes, Sam how do you know what strenght you need, is one eye better than the other, just get a check x

Sounds like the right time is now for you but think you should go to get your eyes tested and get prescription glasses, don't put if off any longer your eyes are precious.

Well Lilli, the glasses i bought, are very weak...but they helped a lot for reading...and i have always got my nose buried in a book...so they've been really helpful....but i have never noticed that i was struggling with seeing images on a computer screen...until that is i put them on and looked at it...what a shock....i can't believe how suddenly so much clearer everything is...i really had no idea!!
