This Friday Night, 27/08/2010- Karaoke with Lee!



As you all now know, this is not only karaoke, it is a night full of fun! All the past Friday nights were exceptional! Not only we got great feedback from everyone, we also have great time every Friday night!!

Don’t forget to grab your dancing shoes and join us on this great night!



Coming Wednesday Night, 01/09/2010- First in Cyprus!! Lee’s Interactive Music Quiz Night



Disco and Cabaret with a twist! The show is the quiz. This interactive music show/ quiz are only 5 TL per person to enter, with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position.

The Quiz will run from approximately 9:30 to 11:00 with music before and after.

So come along and test your knowledge, and have lots of fun AND maybe walk away with a cash prize.

It will not be an ordinary Quiz nigh. It is music quiz.

There are a lot of bars in the area, so the odds of someone else having entertainment on the same night are pretty high. Also you need to consider that the music permit is given for 3 days a week and those days are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, making the odds even higher.

We do not follow what the other bars are doing, so this organization is not against anyone.

We want to bring some difference to the entertainment in North Cyprus, just our view ;)

For what it's worth, I don't believe The Barrel are trying to copy or out do the 'pub next door'.

I mean, I haven't seen them advertise for Topless Barmaids or anything. lol

Don`t think mssg 3 was negative at all. Thiers no copyright on Indian restaurants but similar comments were made when AlJasheen opened next door to the Punjab in Lapta.

As for music permits didn`t/doesn`t the Cabin have music on Thursdays?

Msg 7, yes they do but as I understand it, you can apply for a special licence for odd events (different days) although its unlikely you would get it on the same day every week. Leadaz also has music every Sunday and no-one is allowed music on a Sunday (again unless its a special licence), but they all seem to do it regardless!

The Barrel i think it is great you trying some thing different sounds as if it will be a great laugh and lots of fun and i for one wish you luck you have to keep changing and trying these things

until you do it

you do not no if it will work and at the moment on the Island you have to try every thing you can it has got harder in the last 2 years more so because in stead of helping each other make it work people are ready to stab you in the back

So you keep going i don’t now how you do price wise but what ever it is it is working for you so good luck

Basically, when you are driving on the main road from Kyrenia to Lapta, pass the Merit hotel on the right and there will be a statue of a lady on the left hand side, turn in from there and take the first turning to the left, about 50 meters from there on your right hand side you will see it. There are lots of lights and the signs saying: 'The Barrel Restaurant' and 'The Roof' upstairs.

Sure!

The Chinese menu is available between the 30th August till 5th of September both dates including. And will be served both on the Wednesday Music Quiz Night and Friday Karaoke!
