Do you really want to spoil your holiday???

Depends where you are staying but in JK's in Karsiyaka they are hammers fans but depends on demand.

The other place is the Castle in Karaoglanoglu where you can guarantee they will show the hammers as the landlord is a fanatic!! If you remember the north bank then prepare yourself for a similar atmosphere, not for the feinthearted.

With Man Utd away then Chelski and stoke etc. can't really see us picking up any points until October can you??

Anyway as a Hammers fan you should be used to it by now!!

May see you in one or the other or may travel south to the Surf and Sun in Limassol where they also guarantee every hammers match will be on!

OK I will wait for the abuse!!!!!

Cheers

Come on you irons!!!!

Message 2,

JK's bar is in Lapta near the Sempati Hotel not in Karsiyaka.

Cheers Smooth,

my trip won't be spoilt hopefully due to fact there will be a bottle of Bacardi in the freezer !

I'll be on the East side of Girne near Soyz / Malpas. I'm sure in the past I've driven past the Castle, is it on the right hand side of the road that goes West from Girne towards Alsancak ?

As for JK's again I'm sure I've probably driven past that or seen a sign for it, may do a drive around when I get there to refresh my memory.

As for going South, as they say on this side of the Thames, " don't do South mate "

Message 3, Dusterbruce.

I'm hoping that you're not calling me sad.

Watching a football match in a bar / pub when overseas with fellow fans of West Ham I enjoy. There's always a good banter about the old days and the present situation, and for some who don't get back to Upton Park it's good to catch up on what's going on.

All I'll be thinking about when over in TRNC is how can I make my stay even longer.

Oh, by the way it's football without the B word in front of it as well.

Yes it is a good atmosphere watching with other hammers fans. And not the least sad!! It is a worldwide game in case some have not noticed! And true that for those of us who cannot get back to upton park often we have the tv to remind us of the frustration we are all missing!!

Yes JK's Lapta going towards karsiyaka, just that when I arranged last season to watch with a friend they put liverpool on instead due to demand, fair enough, so best to check. The Castle will be nearer for you ,and you are correct, on the right hand side just after Bektas supermarket and the Nokta building.

Enjoy!!!

I think the Fez has got the new premiership channels sorted and as mike says Paradise probably will also, even soyz bar would be worth checking. Therev are several in the east end.
