The good news is that they were found and are now being fed. Hope they all get out safely.

Hi Lilli, I don't think I could cope with what they are having to consider being stuck underground maybe until Christmas, they are going to need allot of help to cope, all I can do is wish them and their families good luck and that it does not take so long to get them out.

yes im sure theyll get them out asap, they will be fine, think of the hostages ie Brian Keenan and John McCarthy they survived in a 4 BY 6 Foot cell at times and they came though unscathed, even though they never new from one minute to the next if they were gonna be killed or not, the human spirit is strong and at least they know eventually they will get out, and people are doing all they can to help them. Bless them

I think these miners will survive, relatives are now sending letters and messages of support down to them. This will keep their spirits up. They have also asked for football shirts OH! and a poster of Elvis????

Hi the butlers wife, Elvis the king is an icon to them, i wonder which football shirts they require. To be there for so long give them anything to ward off depression xxx

They have been told not to put on too much weight as if their waist measurements exceed 35 inches, there will be difficulty getting them out. Tape measures and exercise plans have been sent down.

I think the doctors who are keeping an eye on them will beirw concerned about their mental stability than their physical stability.

Hi Bill

I said this last night. The worrying thing is that I think it will only take one of these poor buggers to lose it and all hell will be let loose.

I hope to God they can get them out before December.

Hi Jean. Sorry I never saw your post.

I read today that they are sending down Anti-Depressants and Urine testing kits to check for disease.

A further report stated that the 33 men are aged between 19 and 63 and are living in an area of 540 square feet.

It'll get worse for these poor souls as the weeks go by. I just hope they can all hold it together.

Its a terrible thing to have happened, lets hope and pray the can get them out before Christmas..I hope they are able to get air and light down there too..because lack of both and fear could send them in a terrible state..but with constant contact with the people working above should give them hope and strength
