I remember going to the first Reading Festival in 1971 when I was a student there. I was really excited about it then, too! Where have the years gone? I am sure an F in Welsh might be important to the Welsh, but I cannot imagine many others will think it is a big gap in his learning! x

Some people would say getting an F in Welsh was a good sign.

I live in Wales and my son has had his A level results - 1 A, 1B and 2 C's. Incidentally in his GCSE exams the lowest mark he got was a D in Welsh.

Unless he wanted to work in the Welsh Assembly possibly - most of the job descriptions ask for the ability to speak Welsh.

I know Porthcawl... we used to have our "yearly" holiday there... one day on a coach trip! Some years it was Barry depending where the coach company was going. As a child, I loved both. I am from Pontypridd.... will be in Wales in September.... Cymru am Byth... am experiencing Hiraeth now ......
