The 'Blood bank' (started by Chris Offord "Nurseawful" and technically supported by me) doesn't exist anymore. After consulting Chris we've decided that the data (details of the participants) will be given to the BRS.

Yes...i second Teresa's sentiment...why would anyone want to be off the list...surely if someone offers their details for the use of their blood, it shouldn't matter whether it be for Nurse Awful or the BRS. I certainly do not object, and i should think that no one else does either...so...keep me on the list...i have plenty...God knows i've certainly had my own fair share of donated blood!!

FYI: I will not reveal here any info about people who mail me re: message 2. I'll make the (remains of the) database available for the BRS on Monday, August 30, 2010. The database on my computer and the back-up in my mobile phone will subsequently be deleted.

DC is now passing confidential information onto to a third party because of, 'why'?! This is NOT new news! My details were passed over to the BRS last year by him when THEY contacted me to donate to (hopefully) save a mans life for a necessary operation the following day (which was done), so what necessitates the need for this post as it's a 'faits accomplis'? I beg the question why the poster bailed out of what was an excellent idea initiated by Chris (Nurse Awful)?

The BRS are happy to use whatever suits them from non-members for their own gains but refuse to share their knowledge or help to anyone outside their 'clan'.

Hans and I both agreed that we don't have the time any more to do this plus the cost to Hans was unfair. We hopefully saved a few lives over the year and that is thanks to the people who donated their blood.



Hans at no time passed anyone's details to a third party (BRS) so don't know where they got your name Brinsley but it was definitely not from us!

At the time a couple of people stipulated they would not want to donate if the BRS had anything to do with it hence the need for Hans and myself asking people if they have any objections!



Again many thanks to the wonderful people who's name was on the Blood donors data base.

The data of the "Blood Donors database" are now on a CD and will be transferred to the BRS. All personal data on my hard drives and on the memory card in my mobile phone were deleted a couple of minutes ago. Thank you.
