had a breif glimpse in one on my last visit in june to see evening racing from england, i was just wondering if these cypriot bookies are familiar with the yankee,lucky15 type bets that are common in the uk.

Hiya . i think some casinos will show the racing and have british type betting, as i put some money on tips i got of 44 posters for the grand national. Gordon at the Celebrity will certainly know. x

I dont bet very often but had a few lucky 15's at Cheltenham festival in the Cyprus Sporting Club in Karakum, and it was not a problem.

Betting shops all over NC all very nice inside, free tea and soft drinks and the teller usually wishes you luck when you place a bet.......better than ladbrokes!!!

Hi

We like the betting shops here they are very nice people and look after you. We use the Sporting Cyprus green windows beside last Lemar before going into Girne.

Buy an english paper and go into bookies and place bets on whatever you like also the lucky 15 is not a problem here.

Pay in lira and get winnings (if you are lucky enough to get any) back in lira.
