The new issue of Zoom In magazine (Sep) is now in Tempo Karaoglanlu, so it should be in the other major supermarkets too. For those that were interested.....

Just a bit of feedback - if this is the same Zoom magazine I read last year, it was a very good looking magazine spoilt by lack of proof reading.

If you are going to spend thousands on producing and printing a mag in English, spend a few hundred getting it proof read.

Vaughan;

The proof reading is now spot on.

Unless the proof reader has had a few too many sour brandies!

Only Joking!

It's been very good lately.

That's good to hear. The first edition(?) was painful.

Zoom In has now a mainly British team, and any mistakes are minimal and it is now a good read.

And if anyone wants to get hold of the August mag there are still a few in Lemar at Karaoglanoglu. The new one not yet in (well, as of yesterday), so if you wanted to really to catch up on a good read whilst sitting around the pool, you could pick up two copies at the same time.

As to Fangal, I am sure the Editor will pick up on your offer, but the magazine is produced in Nicosia with a good team who are great at graphics etc, but I am sure they would bear you in mind if there was a vacancy.

Personally I think Zoom In (English version) is now catching up in quality on the Turkish Zoom, and in any case, the Editor is open to suggestions any time on content - what do you want to read about? - and accept any fair criticims. (I think). And of course, the mag is on line, and b oth verisons can be read.

By the way, the popularity of the mag is spreading. Fikri Toros had one on his desk and was introduced to it by a friend who is a fellow musician. You can read all about the 'friend' and in October you might be able to read about Fikri.

But I can't find the September one anywhere. Have I been misinformed? But it is on line at http://www.cypruszoom.com!
