Has anyone else seen the dead dog beside the middle reservation on the Lefkosa road from the new water fall to the top leading to the new road -very upsetting.I called into KARS office and they will report it to Beledesi tomorrow(as Bayran today). It just set me off sniverling-you feel such a twit-in front of people too. It's said that a good cry is good for you-it just gave me a headache!

I then thought I would go to the new cemetary for a little reflection and to get back to my cheerful self-where the hell is it.I turned towards the army camp and the soldier came to the barrier-gun on shoulder so I turned tail and fled!

I am all right now but I would like to go to the new cemetary soon to pay my respects to big Ron-hopefully I won't have encounted any road kill.regards Sue.

It looked like a young hunting dog, very pointed face, brown coat.Sorry not very good at dog breeds,I am a cat person! Perhaps Viking Queen can amplify!!It did look in good condition, very upsetting to see! I would have stopped but not in a good place-busy road, just pray no driver runs over it ! Hope it isn't your doggie and hope yours returns.kind regards Sue.

Dead dogs in the road are quite common, both here in TRNC and in the ROC. After a few years living here you soon get used to seeing them, at least they aren't dead humans! Then I would be on the first plane out of here.

Its not a nice site, on our second day of living in TRNC some years ago, we were going to Lefkosa to visit our dog in Kennels, we saw 7 dead dogs between Lapta and Lefkosa, I had the devils job with the wife who wanted to leave and go back to the UK.
