Can anyone help. I am looking to book a villa in NC and they charge per week for electricity. Can anyone please let me know how much electricity would cost per week in August. Using air con in 3 bedrooms at night.

Kirsty...please ensure that the villa is on an individually metred supply and is not still on "builders electric " otherwise it could be very expensive !

However, even on a normal tarriff the cost of electricity in NC is comparatively high, and the air-con really gets the meter wheel spinning !

Think you are looking at no more than 100TL (£45) per week provided the villa is on normal tariff and not builder's tariff. Double it for builder's tariff.

We have just got our electric bill and it's just over 500TL this month. That's in a 3 bedroom bungalow using aircon most nights in living room and then in 2 bedrooms before going to bed!Hopefully temperatures will drop in September!!Also pool pump uses quite a bit!Probably 100TL a week is about right! You've got to be comfortable, there's only so much sweating you can take!Enjoy your hols.kind regards Sue.

Again, i post an offer for solar pool pumping.

with solar pool pumping you can achieve pumping costs at 53 TL a month for 10 years (no price rise!!) and after that you circulate your poolwater for 0 TL. if interested, send message to info@kibsolar.com

Sue ours was 479 this month against 265 last month. It was only to be expected in this heat.
