My phone is currently pay as you go but it doesn't seem to last very long at all topping up with 200 credits quite frequently. I have not topped it up myself but have got the assistant in the supermarket to do it. However I have noticed shortly afterwards that it comes up with a message but I can't understand it - it suggests get 200 Kontor - I have tried the online translators but it doesn't recognise the words -I wonder if it means that you perhaps have to do something to get extra "kontor" free?

Can anyone advise whether it is better to have a pnone on contract and how much that would be approx.

judyr that text message from a previous post is the chance to turn 100 credits into 200 local credits to Turkcel that last only 2 weeks .The person that posted thought he was getting a bargain found he could not call the UK and only cyprus Turkcell so no use as they just used the phone for calls to uk land lines
