I have just found out I have got an apartment, 3 bedrooms, brand new, unfurnished, on complex with pool near Riverside, Alsancak. and the lovely owner is keeping it for me till I get out.



Had 2 removal companies in this morning, will get quotes this afternoon and they can do the packing next week which means I could be there next week if I can get my final bills sorted out.



Annnnnnddddd there is someone on their way to see my lovely car.



I'm happy, excited, scared, emotional beyond believe but so looking forward to this new chapter in my life.

Can I just ask how, or why you have just found out you have an apartment, I have been reading your posts and thought you already had a place to go to?

No I have never said that before Vicki, I was going to be staying at Parklane until I found something.



The apartment I will be moving into was advertised for rent on this board on Monday and I contacted the owner.



Not sure how you thought I had somewhere, I was looking at apartments when I was over, 1 of them I did like but the owner wanted to sell and not rent out.

Very pleased for you Sunshine. In all your excitement however, don't forget to make sure your rental agreement sets out who is to pay for maintenance charges and rental tax (yourself or the landlord). Don't want you to get caught out like another poor renter on this board recently.

Carol, you only need to stop when the mods stop it or if you e-mail them and ask them to close the porst and lately even that upsets some for a good reason in my opinion, others might gain some information even after you have got what you nereded.



Somebody in the forum will always disagree with something on a post, I should know, I am the one who normally ends up argueing but thats just me.

Hence my comments about the last post being as useful as !!!



Rather than say, who cares whether the poster likes the post, many others seem to be happy to join it, which might cause another arguement I thought I would just say balsa wood scaffolding.

You are obviously popular and made some new fast friends who are interested in your situation and this was how you kept them up to date, nothing wrong with that.
