my computer is sending spam emails out

Help, anyone able to shed some light on why my laptop is sending spurious emails out to names from my contact list. Everytime I open up my hotmail account, I find postmaster notifications to many of my contacts.

You may have a virus - or some spyware



Try AVG from Grisoft.com when downloaded up date it and then run a scan also SUPERantiSpyware from superantispyware.com (the same applies about loading it and running it).



Different products different purposes and do not open your hotmail without them running - both are free products to domsetic users

We have had this problem for a year we have all the mentioned antispyware and maleware programs running which all show no problem but still the problem persists we have 8 security programs but our address book has been copied

I know it sounds extreme batgirl but the only way I know out of this is to create a new e-mail account and copy your contacts details and send out a bulk e-mail from the new address.

It is a pain but it works. Just get a new one and stop using the old.
