are you talking about a mongolian bbq, where you pick your own meats and vegetables and give it to a chef to cook. If so, I have always enjoyed that in England and if location and prices are right it may work

I think it is a great idea but it usually only works well in a buffet situation as the chef can only do one or two at a time which is difficult for a large table booking, you could probably make it work though with a couple of cooking stations.

RE msg 10, mersin10: (...) restaurant in uk called temujin. (...)

=> A well chosen name and true Mongolian! The young man Temujin became later famous/notorious as Gengiz Khan (many spellings possible)! P.S. I love Mongolian food - good luck chef_deniz!

As stilluvithere says, where are you thinking of haveing a Mongolian kitchen and what sort of prices? Have been to Zone in Bellapais a while ago. 8 of us chose our meats and veg, then they served them up to the wrong people, not a word of apology, and the most disturbing thing, they have satay dressing which contains peanuts. Had one of us had an allergy to nuts, I think their reaction would have been different. Would not go again because of this, so beware, unless you are a TC, then your service will be better, as they were being served well.

http://www.temujinrestaurant.co.uk/Home.asp

Temujin are specialist in Mongolian stir-fry. The stir-fry is the main course and after whetting your appetite with the starters, you may go up to the buffet as many times as you wish and combine either a meat, ranging from crocodile to chicken, seafood, New Zealand green lipped mussels among them, and/or a protein, tofu or quorn, with a massive variety of vegetables. Take your selection over to the row of woks, request the chef to stir-fry using an oil, sauces and garnishes, then watch it being stir-fried right before your eyes. The choices are endless so the clients can go back to the buffet as often as they like all for one set price.

There is a long list of home made, healthy and delightful desserts plus some being gluten free.

Temujin is ideal for all tastes, including children, vegetarians and coeliacs.

chef deniz. to run that grill at 400 degree,s youll have to have 100 bums on seats each night your open,as you cannot turn that grill up and down,im sure it must be kept at a stable tempriture or as you say,400degree,s,that will take alot of gas here and cost a fortune night after night,it will eat the gas .

I hope you do manage to get this dream off the ground,i look forward to tasteing your food.
