Esentepe stadium is up through the village. Enter the village and go along the main road past the Belediye and Kim Market... keep following this road as it snakes up through the village and you will come to a roundabout. Take the exit that's to the left (not the one to the police station) and the Stadium is about 100yds up on the left down a short road.

By the way, this is the road that leads up into the mountains and the road that goes all the way to Buffavento... (a trip well worth it - some fantastic views).

Thankyou Hippo for your question, the reason why we have gone to esentepe stadium for this game is that they have given us the the use of the ground for free, and we would be stupid not to take them up on this offer.

I hope we can count on you support???

We attended the last game that was played in Esentepe.

What a brilliant atmosphere, and as Groucho mentioned, well worth the drive. We'll

definately be cheering our boys on again on 11th.

They obviously have eneouh talented ?? players at your position madog.

Now if you were a little older you could play in the over 60's game, which will be played at the Alsancak stadium some time in November. The home of TRNC rugby.

'Now if you were a little older you could play in the over 60's game, which will be played at the Alsancak stadium some time in November. The home of TRNC rugby.'

You will be accommodated well as they have installed a zimmer frame park and 112 have increased their membership by 100% just to cover the impending game.

Unfortunatley Hippo is not here at the moment I wish you success for your game tomorrow. and hope you get the support that you deserve

As regarding learning anything i very much doubt it, you have replaced your long serving coaches officials and abandoned your home ground.

I feel you have destroyed the whole ethos of the original Pumas mostly down to Johny come latleys and strutting continentals.

Just remember you are not the only rugby team here in Kibris now.

Hippo, message 9 says they are playing at Esentepe because they get the use of the ground free.

I don't know how much Pumas have to pay to use the Alsancak stadium, but I suppose Alsancak beledesi would rather their pitch remain unused, rather than drop the price of hiring the pitch.

I imagine it's a case of saving the funds for the expenses at away games.

Good luck for today !!!!!!

I love the game and the fact it moves on, including law changes, disciplinary procedures, coaching methods, fixtures, players et al. As I am now merely an 'alacadoo', it saddens me that negativity can creep into a simple post on 44 notifying the community of the opening fixture of the Pumas 2010 Season. Either be there and support, or post your whinges somewhere else and do not support.

Good to hear a 2nd team has been formed.

Hippo - I'm sure you knew full well who the opposition were and the sensitivity surrounding the match. I suggest you keep your personal gripes to yourself in favour of the greater good.
