Kenny Neal's website confirms that he is headlining the 21st Efes Blues Festival ...it visits Jasmine Court on Monday 11th October.

We called into Jasmine Court and they know nothing about it...no change there then!

We saw Kenny Neal on the Legendary Blues Cruise in January ...he's red hot!

Excellent news. I am really looking forward to it and just hope that they hold it outside again. Do you know who the other artists are yet and when the tickets go on sale?

To anyone that has not been to any of the Efes Blues concerts then you are missing an incredible night.

It is a brilliant night if you want to stand for hours, we have tried on numerous occasions to book a table to no avail. They tell you come back next week, then the next week and then eventually say all tables are booked!

The drink prices were ridiculous as well the last time we went.

Did you go last year when it was outside? There were certainly plenty of seats and when they were not available they were putting out beer crates (unfortunately not full of beer) for people to sit on. I am not one for sitting down at concerts like that as I like to mingle and catch up with friends. Can't wait as it is the musical highlight of my year.

Msg 3.

The link posted is last year's programme. This year's hasn't been posted yet, though it surely must be available somewhere. These things take a year to plan.

Didn't go the last 2 years as when it was in the night club behind the Jasmine it was an accident waiting to happen with people on the stairs and jammed in like sardines! The music is always terrific and its just a shame it wasn't a better venue maybe they should consider the Girne Amphitheatre!

An young acoustic bluesman -Samuel James (see http://www.sugarsmallhouse.com ) is also on the bill ( I only know this because we run a blues club back home and his agent was pitching him at us for a booking) ...good stuff, though
