Thanks to everyone who came last week and made the wednesday quiz such fun.

This week's quiz will start at 8.30pm, same format, quiz 2tl per head (entry includes free soup and roll) followed by play your cards right and sticky 13s.

Are there lots of pop music questions? My husband likes to win!!!!! How long does the quiz last? Will I get back to see Casualty, or will I have to record it? So many questions! Sorry! But one has to give serious consideration of travelling miles to be met by defeat!

It's a general knowledge fun quiz, so hopefully not too hard, but no specific subjects. There is always a bit of everything.. I don't know what time casualty is on but last week we finished the quiz, play your cards right and lucky13s by about 10.45. Hope this helps. See you there.

Please could you give directions from Ozankoy Bookshop? .... and it would be great if the soup is red lentil! We need more vegetarian options! Hope to be there, if we can find it!

Just 50 metres along the road from the bookshop. Follow the road around the corner and over a speedbump and turn in to the right...large car park at the back.

One of the best Soup Kitchens I have attended in years. Where else could you have a quiz, a bowl of delicious lentil soup, chunk of bread and bowl of chips and all for 2tl. Crazy. Five Fingers should be a registered charity! Great bargain, especially for the winners of the quiz, and the Irish Bingo and the other higher-lower-card-thingmy.

We are fairly flexible, but obviously the more in a team the less you can win each. I also find that in a big team half the people never get a word in and feel left out, surely better to take part and have a go than be in a big team even if you win.

Small is beautiful. Hubby and I won the One Round Quiz so got to share the 16tl prize. Now had we been 10 of us, couldn't even pay the drink bill.



But Alex is flexible, but I do agree with him. It might have been nice if someone had invited themselves to join us instead of leaving us as a couple of geriatric paraias (oops, can't spell) and we might have won the main quiz!



But whatever the size of the team - it is fun - innit!
