Today, watched a lovely game of cricket from Cardiff....England won

Then live Rugby, ladies International England v New Zealand...England lost.

Disappointing no swap of shirts !!!!

But evening, outside, perfume of Jasmine, pervades the air.

Nice glass of wine by the pool,

Peace,peace....still so warm

Oh well, suppose a swim is in order..........

What a lovely place I live in.

Mike

i am delighted to hear such a positive response - i am so looking forward to that Jasmine in the garden by the pool on Wed night. Just struggling with the packing and most importantly the weighing of it all at the mo! Enjoy

Mike a good positive post which I am glad to say has not been sabotaged by someone with a doom and gloom story. Not that I don't feel for them as I do.

Keep enjoying it all Mike..We love it here Mr Spider says he will never return home ! I would love to have a much fuller social life meeting up with others for coffee, a swim etc..I do find that most of my life is kept very busy with housework as if you leave it for a day or two it seems a bigger task to tackle ) often I am at home by myself a lot thats when I start to miss home and the family, things will change soon I am sure, more so now that the weather is getting just a little cooler and that helps a lot.

Lilli doubt it, went out for a meal here tonight...not the best - but also quite expensive, indifferent service, staff not interested, came home and have to put the heating on 'cos it's not that warm. Rather windy, and rain forecast for tomorrow and most of the week...

Doesn't quite match what you have over there???

The disdain in your first sentence ,belies your second sentence. 'Sabotage' !!!!

We wont sabotage 'good things ' threads with our negative 'doom and gloom stories. but would then expect our 'give us our ptp and title threads, not to be sabotaged with positive 'Im alright Jack stories' .

Girne 29, I wasn't trying to be nasty. I too have been waiting years for my ptp and found out 3 months ago that my builder didn't apply for permission to build, went bankrupt and left me to pick up the pieces. If I want to moan about it which I don't I would not put normally in a link such as this

I bought my villa some 10 years ago..from a small builder who only built 2 or 3 at a time.

Had marvellous holidays here.

When I retired Oct 2008 I went to my solicitor for Kocan, and received from the builder in 2 days.

I feel so sorry all the people with problems.

Maybe I was just so lucky.Thank you God?Allah

Blimey,it's 1925,going dark,time for first wine.

Hey,aren't the evenings nice now?

Mike

Re message 1. So nice to read this. I am jealous and can't wait until the next time I visit. The perfume of jasmine is something that always reminds me of N.C.

Feel the same as you Mike, don't watch the tv but get as much enjoyment living here without it. Our Jasmine is in full bloom too and smelling lovely. No incentive to go back to UK, all our friends complain of the cold and wet, high prices and rudeness.

Totally agree with Mike, good to have positive posts I am sure very many people are happy to be living here and I don't believe that "lots" of people will be leaving, those that do leave please go to any other European country where you can have very similar problems to those found here or worse. It is NOT just TRNC.
