What's the best place to buy a TV from

We are looking to buy a new flat screen tv 32/40 inch and was wondering where is the best place to go to get a good deal

There is a shop, under some flats by the port in Girne. Best way, go down past Mannipennis towards port, turn left at market, then almost an immediate right down dirt track, through lorry park, it is on your left, sells loads of things.

I can thoroughly recommend Toros near the Pound shop and Comaks. Got a really good deal on a Philips 40" HD LCD. It's pin sharp and very sleek. The price was good too.



General features to look for:-



100hz or better refresh rate. Sony do some 200hz LED ones now - they really are the dogs b*llocks.

Omac Cin Plaza in Lefkosa do a good range of Panasonic Viera's flat screen of all sizes, a little more expensive but very nice plus they also have other makes.



They will come and fit it to anything else you may already have ie dvd, surround sound

Scott, I recommend that you also look at my post of 1739 hrs on 24 Aug 10 which attracted very valuable and much appreciated advice from both Navek and Rollinbones. Have just bought and seem to have done very well. Best of luck.

Technomart near to the April 23rd school. It is at the top of the 1001 street. Bought from there many times. Very helpful owner and competitive prices. English spoken.
