I just wish my GC cousins living in the southern lands good luck because they are going to need it. Turkish finance will turn TRNC into a better holiday resort than the south. But I can assure them that when we need Greek Cypriot toilet cleaners and room maidens we will not discriminate against when they apply for jobs. We'll even employ some of them in more adult services provided by these new establishments.

There will soon be a hotel for every person that visits the TRNC!

Rather than build new ones perhaps they should do more to fill the existing ones?

I read a report that most had only a 30-40% occupancy rate throughout the busy period.

What does bias mean. Surely your own bias is as relevant as mine, no?

Can you not see that in 10 years time the roc will be in for rude awakening? Do I have to spell it for you. The Turkish economy will swallow it whole. ohps another bit biased opinion.

Can't help my self, I keep getting these visions. Like people shooting at me in 63 and 67. Once was not enough I had to suffer it twice. Thank you my GC cousins from the bottom of my heart for being such a crap shots, I lived to tell the tale.

BTW FYI I know live in Lurucina-Upon-Thames. We have declared independence as of last week, did you not hear the newspaper reports in the Gruniad?

Thanks.

I know Osman. We used to play Pirilli together in the early 70s.

Inda gamnis reh lurucadi? Ise gala? Lurucadi Klefdigo what a wonderful thought. But is the meat stolen? it does not taste the same unless it is especially from my greek cousins like it used to be in the 60s.

Current hotels only half full at best so they build more.

Only a quarter of existing university places filled so governmental permission is given to build another huge university complex in NC's jewel in the crown - the Karpaz.

Timeline for the completion of the Bafra 'development' will be at least 13 years later than predicted.

I will have a couple of pints of whatever you are drinking

If you had a couple of pints of Lurucina Zivania 1960 - home made, you would not last the day. Lighten up will you. We are having a bit of banter with my GC cousins who live in the southern lands, some of which actually belong to me, the thieving hypocrites.

I am well chilled out - hence the smiley

Have got slaughtered on zivania on more than a few occasions when I lived amongst your GC cousins. I always found them very friendly and accommodating.

Please accept my apologies for not 'getting' your London Cypriot sense of humour

Since coming to Cyprus I have adopted the Mediterranean attitude of fewer beers but more often

I used to drink Guinness by the bucketload but have acquired a taste for Efes although I do find it a bit too gassy to drink in any volume !!

Also like a drop of Efes Dark or Dark Brown.

Sal,

I am not surprised Osman was very brave, his father stood up to TMT in Lurucina and they did not touch him. The old man's bravery must have brushed on him.

Paul, I am glad you adopted the Cypriot way of Yavash Yavash. I on the other hand remained with the Cypriot ways.

Enjoy Cyprus. One day I shall join you all.

Soon when you look in your holiday brochure you will see places such as "Kyrenia Turkey", "Catallkoy Turkey"

The Turkish Government build the Turkish tourist coastline by saying "build your hotels along our coast, and we won't ask where the money came from", they could do the same in the TRNC....

Could it be to do with the fact that Aphrodite was a prostitute? just a hunch.

My GC cousins would be having kittens by now especially the ones who have cheeky-kitten ancestry, for those who are not familiar with this linage it is the other human linage the Neanderthal.
