Doner kebab is fairly convenient and there is a cafe of some sort just about everywhere, why do we need something like instant cholesterol in the form of puff pastry

Pugwash ! I tried Cassini but was not impressed when the chap making my sandwich had bare hands on the ingredients and then stopped to take money from people whilst doing it without washing ! sorry never again ! and before you get on soap box i did refuse sandwich !!! yet realise what goes on out of "sight" ! I have a good friend in UK who cleans chinese restaurants kitchens as a job (not chosen) ! he never eats chinese now. !!

I would be all for it! Chelsea buns, croissants, danish pastries---the simple things in life which cannot be had here.

never been keen on subway. Always find them a bit boring, even with all the different ingredients on. I preferred the sandwiches from my local bakers, freshly baked vienna roll, with home roasted slices of tasty ham or turkey and a little salad with a bit of mayo or salad cream (depending on my mood) mmmm

Unfortunately I love the cholesterol inducing pies and pasties - but have to avoid - and I do think TRNC could do without them!
