| which one is right ?? Stephen Day’s column in midweek cyprus today or the brs website Stephen Day’s column in midweek cyprus today says that granting of permanent residency had ceased. but that is at odds with the brs website http://www.brstrnc.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=98&Itemid=138 Temporary residents can apply for permanent residence when they have completed their 5th year of residence (when they have 6 temporary residence stamps in their passports). Clarification please. |

| Both. Mr Day is the BRS therefore he must be the one responsible for any press release! Maybe you missed this little bit on the BRS web site: "Processing of applications for permanent residence has been suspended". What was the question????? |
