Learn to draw and to paint using watercolours, acrylics and oils with Turkish Cypriot artist Salih Cizel at his studio/gallery in Lapta.

The course is open to anyone, from beginner to competent artists wishing to brush up on their skills. The class takes place on Wednesday mornings and will run through the autum and winter months.

Tony is willing to offer a lift from Catalkoy/Ozankoy to and from Lapta for the classes.

I do a bit of watercolour painting, and need nothing in the way of materials brushes etc. But would be interested to join in the art classes. Please post cost and length of time for the classes (2hours, 3 hours ?

Thanks for the interest guys. Lessons are from half nine to half twelve and cost 30 lira per week. Salih speaks excellent English and his studio is open most days but not over Bayram.

Directions to the gallery are from Girne, tale the first signposted turn for Lapta, carry on up to the next T Junction then turn right follow the road up passing the flower shop on the left and take the next sharp left turn. drive up 200 mts and park outside the shop on the left. The gallery is just around the corner to the right.
