Loads and loads of favourites. Chubby, ( if you are broad minded) was good in his heyday! Billy Connelly, Freddie Star, and if you are from up North, Steve Womack.

Matt Lucas, and David Williams are really funny too. Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders...

Krypton nope.

Blackbird, I like chubby (you fat bast*rd) brown too. And all the others, never heard of Steve Womack though. Will have to google him.

PS David Williams changed his name to David Walliams when he joined the actors union. (bit of useless information ;-)

Msg 13: You didn't have to write your message. You must have a lonely life to feel the need to tell us all about your favourite comedian. How interesting for people living in TRNC or with an interest in TRNC.

I've seen Rhod Gilbert do the same sketch somewhere else, it was identical. Very good none the less.

PS Batterboy, are you the bloke that runs Cod Baba by any chance? Look a bit like him. Hard to tell from a thumbnail pic.

I am a real fan of Roy Hudd.

AJ tries to be as funny as No1, but both are cringe making.

I think you are mistaken about me trying to be 'funny'. Look up the word 'sarcasm' in the dictionary then you will know where I am coming from.

measey, quite honesly, I haven't got a clue what your're on about (yet again). Does your post bear any relevance to anything on this thread?

I have tried (as, I daresay have many others) as to what you are going on about on most of your posts, without success. That could, of course, be myself "missing the point". However, I doubt it.

Spike Milligan...

I used to go to the Paris Theatre, Lower Regents Street to watch the recording of his radio programs.

His ad-libbing and quick wit had the rest of the cast in stitches. It used to take over an hour to record a scripted half-hour program due to so many 'corpsing' episodes caused by his deft asides.

Saddam's Iraqi Officer who used to face the worlds TV media everynight during the shock and awe of the Gulf War and announce, with the most evil smile I have ever seen, that the Iraqi soldiers were kicking the crap out of the Yanks and Allied forces. Some "bottle" and an overdeveloped sense of humour he had !
