Barcelona is one of my all-time favourite cities.

Wonderful place for a long weekend break or extended stay.

Make a point of visiting, you really won't be disappointed.

Girona is about and hour to 1.5 hours away from Barcelona, Ryanair do run a bus service but its always very busy as it serves all the flights going to other countries, a taxi is very expensive, we paid about 120 euros some years ago!!!

We took the bus from Girona Airport to Barcelona in February after flying from Luton. The bus waits for the Ryanair flight arriving and then leaves. It was very cheap, we had no problems and were dropped in the centre of Barcelona. Ryanair is also flying Larnaca to Brussels. I am looking forward to the Larnaca - UK flights, although I did book EasyJet from Gatwick to Larnaca in November for £37.99 each and in January for £41.99. Unfortunately, the return flights land at nearly midnight, so am not using them to go back as they are inconvenient to travel on from and too late to book a hotel. Flights cannot get much cheaper.
