Does anyone know of a decent (in all senses) guitar teacher, in the Alsancak area?

Hi HotHippo,

No I don't teach, but I have been playing guitar for more years than I care to remember. There are some excellent downloadable guitar lessons on the web, form beginner to advanced and lots of them are free....happy strumming...

Also, first of all you'll need to tune your guitar accurately - just Google 'online guitar tuner' and on that website you'll find plenty more info., as advised by martinD41/Msg 6.

My advice to anyone starting off is to find the simplest song you like most and you'll likely discover that you can play it with only three simple chords - e.g., 'I just called to say I love you....' - just using A, E & D - good luck!

Thanks for all the information and advice - I'll pass it all on to my wife & son, and let them get on with it.

Cheers,

Eddie

Hello John / Marisa,

For now, they have decided to stick to the internet-tutors, but thanks for your reply.

To you, and all others who have replied, please accept my apologies if I have wasted your time with this post.

Best Regards,

Eddie
