reading your comments made me feel sad that you think all women are stupid whores! is it not that young girls are boring and have nothing to talk about so men become attractive to more mature women. Age shoule not matter between to people who are attractive but both need to keep their cool and be in this world.

oh thats a bit strong don't you think , you can't say ALL men because that just simply would'nt be true , you have obviously had bad experiences , thankfully not all people do , perhaps a counsellor would help overcome your distrust

Older men like younger women and older women like younger men. Their younger girl/boyfriends have their own reasons for doing what they do. We all just need to recognize that and accept it.

Some people are too quick to condemn "dirty old men" whilst portraying women of the same age, doing the same thing, as being "romantics".

We should just let people get on with it without judging them whilst accepting that they are doing what they do because of their hormones.

I see from your profile that you are 19 years old and divorced.

I hope you wont be offended when I say you obviously married young and had a bad experience with the person you married and are suffering the after effects of being badly let down.

I'm sure there are members who will understand how you are feeling but you shouldn't tar all men with the same brush.

If you want a bit of advice.....go out and enjoy yourself and see a bit of life.

You are still young .

When you least expect it the right man will come along and change your life around and you will look back and put whatever you are going through at the moment as one of the bad experiences in life.

There are loads of good honest men out there....you just haven't found your "soul mate" yet...but you will.

Enjoy your day and a little something for you to think about......

I agree vaughn, Never have been in to younger women though, i was always of the opinion women are like fine wine and good cheese they mature with age get a good body on them and taste better with age.

Hi nige,

As they used to say in the Navy "Women are all very well, but you can't beat the real thing".

I'm all for younger women - having kids and gravity really makes a mess of the older ones.

i would think most people during there life time get hurt ...thinking the person they loved felt the same ....your age is not important you have feelings like everyone else ... young ,old , whatever our hearts are still the same ... they still get broken ... your youth is your asset .... enjoy your life while you can ... as they say its better to be an old mans sweetheart than a young mans slave ...then again its better to be no mans anything than take revenge on men in general .... as eve said to adam you was sent to me as a play thing ... take care and be stronge

Hi Romantic08,

I am not the best person to ask advice from, I was married young like yourself but it didn't last and I have now been married for 30 years to my 2nd husband. My experience of marraige is it has to be worked at and is full of comprises and give and take. My husband is not romantic and I have never experienced this soul mate business but he is kind and is not possesive or violent and does not spend hours in the pub, he works hard and doesn't keep me short of money, so I count myself lucky, I think actions speak louder then words and I wouldn't swop this for a bunch of roses or a box of chocolates.

I have just tuned in on this thread and I see that I have missed a great deal.

I agree with Nigel about women being like wine. I rather have the company of an older women i.e. anything over 40.

Do hormones play a part? Of course they do and usually it is battle between hormones and self restraint.

I was reading a book recently, actually tit bits from various books and someone was comparing womena and men. Women have to be emotionally involved before having an affair with a man but for men, an affair may mean nothing. I think there is some truth in this.

Broken hearts mend! I speak from experience.

Look more to what men do than what they say.

Value yourself, highly.

I was married young too & had a good marriage but

later, as a widow in my 40's did get hurt. Probably my own

fault partly, but we all make mistakes & want to be happy.
