I walked out of the villa onto the veranda this afternoon, closed the door behind me and efes was sat next to the door outside looking at me lovingly like he does. I turned round to take a couple of photos, turned back and he was in the house. All the doors and windows where shut, I checked. I can't explain it. Weird.

That's nothing, GR my Kangal can open the door and then put the chain on. I am not saying he is a coward or anything like that, after all he originates from Anatolia, but he has developed this fear of mehmetcik for some reason which I cannot understand. Every time he sees the soldiers walk by, he hides in the cupboard. He will not defend even his bitch when they are walking by. That I cannot understand. Oracle teases him by going up to the soldiers and kissing them.

Our Lucy is very much like a Kangal to look at, she will open all the patio doors and even the front door for us when we have been out..She is also very intelligent talking away to us and everyone in her funny sounding way, and what a bark she has too, we are very sure the house is safe with here here to protect us..Lucy long legs we call her, and I know Topten would have took her home if he could have the day of our BBQ..He was bidding for her but we had to say that she was not getting auctioned off..She makes us laugh so much, but the other day she came home with a goats head that still had the fur on AHHH.

We walk her round the summer army camp area and there is a farm about, why on earth they leave these things laying about once they have slaughtered them i have no idea..we dont get many so thats good..But she nearly died once last year as she contacted an infection having rolling about on something deal..it was toxic and she had to be on a drip for 3 days...She is fighting fit again now..
