Can anyone tell me when and were you are supposed to register your dog in Catalkoy? Was told the Beledeye sent letters around to the houses but we never received one.

Any information would be welcome.

Go To thE old Belediye office on the corner of catalkoy village square to register and then to where you pay your water bills to pay.

12 lira for a male dog and I will be very interested to see what you pay if you have a bitch!

Yesterday completed the registration of the dogs after a letter was sent to our address stating if we did not register by the 15/9 200tl fine was incurred. I believe per dog. Anyway due to the fact they are street dogs they have only received their inoculations for distemper etc and neutered within the first year of their life therefore do not have a current Vet's card. If you have one of these it is very simple go to the office opposite the coffee shop with it and then up to the Belediyesi to pay. If not you have to take the dog(s) to be viewed by the government vet who confirms they are healthy and gives them wormtal tablets and a registration card, then back to the office then to pay or obviously you can take them to the vet of your choice and get all their jabs up to date. Not that impressed but here's hoping everyone will be registered and then maybe I would not feel so bitter.

We only paid 12TL for all of our 3. 2 dogs and a spayed bitch. When we registered them they didn't want to see the dogs.

The above means 12TL for each one if you see what I mean.
