Does anyone know how to avoid animals being put into quarantine on their return to the UK.

Pet passport up to date.

Hi

I took my pet cat from the UK to Saudi and then brought him here. From here I took him to Spain - Madrid (my hubby was going to be working there), anyway my hubby's contract was cancelled and he was transferred back to the UK so with the help of a Spanish vet I got all his documents transferred to a Spanish Pet Passport and I went to the government office myself with all his uptodate certificates etc they issued him with a stamped pet passport and I got him back to the UK. It took me 3 months in total to do it part of that time he stayed with the vet and I used a door to door UK animal carrier to bring him back overland as well. I didn't do anything illegal.

I also gather that some people use France to take pets back and use a carrier to do it as well.

If you take an animal from TRNC to UK surely it is irrelevant if it has a 'Pet Passport' it will have to spend 6 months in quarantine.

Msg 1 Sounds a very irresponsible request.
