i think we are having a mini typhoon in tring at the moment , my cat was in shock so i went to retrieve him and nearly got decapitated in the process , its really coming down hard and the trees are swaying wildly , cant get door into the bunker open wind too strong , i will just sit under the stairs until it passes , good job i went to tring superstore this morning for the tonic , { gin is hell without it }

Must have passed us by here in N. Hampshire. Couldn't agree more about the tonic although it's the taste of the tonic I can't stand & only put the Gin in to take the bitter taste away.........it also helps with the mossies & malaria prevention, given all the stagnant water we have about.

Can live without the tonic but not the gin - lots of ice and fresh lime. We had a mini tornedo here in Essex but the sun is shining now - really weird weather!!

London is very windy and one minute raining and the next the sun is shining. I am still waiting for summer to happen but I think it has passed us by again

sweet martini and lemonade is my tiple but it only tastes good if the sun is high.
